How Loop uses Plotline

Over the last 6 months, the product team at Loop has launched 20+ campaigns on Plotline, with the aim of improving multiple in-app metrics across activation, adoption, and monetization.

Campaign 1: Improve adoption of online consultations

Appointment bookings on the app are a key feature in driving renewals and future revenue. Users who take free consultations are likely to open the app in the future when they face health problems. They will also be more likely to buy super top-ups.

The team realized that a number of users were not aware of their free consultations. The product team created a campaign to highlight this to users.

  • Trigger location: Highlighting the Online Consultation card
  • Audience: Targeted to users who have opened the app multiple times but have never booked an appointment till date.

They saw a ~15% uplift in users who confirmed their appointment.

Campaign 2: Educate users about the insurance policies section

To make the insurance section easy to understand for their users, the product team at Loop launched a walkthrough with multiple tooltips.

The walkthrough campaign drove a 10% uplift in top-of-funnel for their insurance policies.
