Integration Engineer

Some of the most ambitious consumer companies in India — fintech, gaming, e-commerce, super-apps — trust Plotline to power their in-app engagement. As an Integration Engineer, you'll be the bridge between Plotline and these products. You'll work hands-on with engineering and product teams at companies like Dream11, CoinDCX, and Zepto to architect how Plotline fits into their tech stack, get them live, and help them launch their first high-impact use cases.

This is not a typical solutions engineer role where you hand off a doc and wait. You'll be deep in their codebase, consulting on system architecture, syncing event pipelines with analytics tools, and designing the integration so it scales from day one. When a customer goes live, it's because you made it happen.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end integrations — From first SDK call to production launch. You'll lead the technical relationship with each customer from kickoff to go-live, ensuring Plotline is embedded correctly across Android, iOS, React Native, Flutter, or Web.
• Design system architecture for integrations — Consult with engineering teams on how Plotline fits into their existing architecture. Advise on event taxonomy, SDK initialization strategy, user identity resolution, backend event pipelines, and how Plotline should sync with their existing tools (MoEngage, CleverTap, Amplitude, etc.).
• Build and launch initial use cases — Work with product and growth teams to configure and ship their first campaigns, journeys, widgets, and experiments — turning "SDK integrated" into "real business value delivered."
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues — Debug SDK behavior across platforms, trace event flows through the pipeline, and resolve edge cases in real-time during integration windows.
• Create integration playbooks — Document patterns, gotchas, and best practices so future integrations get faster. Turn one-off fixes into reusable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering — Surface integration friction points back to the product team. If something is hard to integrate, help us make it easier for the next customer.

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, or a technical customer-facing role at a SaaS or developer tools company.
• Strong coding ability — you should be comfortable reading and writing code in at least two of: Kotlin/Java, Swift, JavaScript/TypeScript, Dart, or Python.
• Experience with mobile SDKs, REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures. You understand how data flows between a mobile app and backend services.
• Familiarity with at least one mobile platform (Android or iOS) and how apps are built, shipped, and debugged in production.
• Clear, confident communicator who can explain technical concepts to both engineers and product managers at enterprise companies.
• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity — you'll often be working directly with a customer's team, figuring out the best path forward without a detailed script.

Bonus Points

• Experience integrating third-party SDKs into large-scale consumer apps.
• Familiarity with analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, CleverTap, MoEngage) and how they capture and route events.
• Experience with React Native or Flutter cross-platform development.
• Background in customer-facing technical roles — solutions engineering, developer advocacy, or technical consulting.
